What is the site council?
The School Council is a representative body of people who are elected from the Bonillas Magnet Elementary School Shared-Decision Making Community as required by ARS 15-351. It consists of an administrator, classified staff, teachers, parents, and community members following guidelines set at the state level.
What does the site council do?
Site Council makes recommendations to the school, and is responsible for making decisions that support the school while improving student achievement. Site Council works to improve all aspects of Bonillas Magnet Elementary so that our school can be the best school possible.
When does the council meet?
The meetings are once a month, from 3:00-4:00 in the school library. The meetings are held on the last Monday of every month (September-April).
Can I observe a meeting?
Site Council follows Open Meeting regulations. Anyone can observe and listen to what is being discussed at any meeting.
